They took 9 months for one tooth only to extract it at the end. It started with tooth filling then failed root canal and tooth extraction. The amount of suffering cannot be measured. The number of visits and time spent is BIG. They charge you every possible way. Spent more than 1500$ after a premium dental Insurance plan. Always in denial mode. My 71 year old diabetic mom brought her dentures there to be fixed this morning and was assured she wouldn't be left without her teeth for the weekend by the dentist. They told us someone would call when they were ready, no one called and they are closed now until the day after Christmas. This is absolutely unacceptable and a horrible way to treat and elderly woman.
I tried this office in summer, the staff is very friendly and office is clean. The one star review is for their lack of follow up and sleazy sales tactics. I clean my teeth every 3 months at my previous dentist and as required daily. They wanted to force me to do deep cleaning with a $400 out of pocket expense. I refused to do this unnecessary procedure and asked to speak to the doctor, Kerry promised me a call back that never happened. Aspen Dental in Chelmsford doesn't deserve the business of anyone. Not only did they not keep my appointment, they lied and got busted. First they tried saying that they don't have the right number (which was not true), then tried saying my phone wouldn't accept calls or voicemail. I had them call as I stood there. Miraculously the call went through and voicemail picked up. The woman at the desk tried telling me that they've been calling "for weeks". I'm in a DHMO plan. Aspen keeps balance billing me -- which means they are charging me for things the contract says they cannot charge me for. I called them up a couple weeks ago with an Atena rep on the phone to sort it out. The answer was, "oh your bill just mailed it too soon. This is fixed, don't worry about it." What do I get weeks later? Another bill for the same balance billing charge. Looking forward to calling them up again on Monday and filling another complaint with Atena. If u want dentures that you can see threw and will only last a year or two, then this is the place for you. This place will always put the blame on u for their inferior work. If you do dare go there bring a witness and a camera to record their shenanagans.
