They told me I needed all my wisdom teeth out and a root canal that would cost over $5000 (after insurance). I went to my own dentist and a root canal specialist that said neither were necessary!
Went in yesterday 3/30 because i broke a wisdom tooth. Had to go in an office to confirm payment prior to being checked out. Then after 7 cc's of novacane it didn't work, the oral surgeon still tried pulling. After i stood up and told him to stop, he prescribed me an antibiotic... Apparently i have an infection and yet he still tried pulling. Here i am now all weekend with pain, going elsewhere on Monday. THANKS ASPEN
Jodi is a great hygienist, I'll miss her. Today was the last straw. Every time I come in for a routine cleaning the business office staff changes. I miss Ashley, she was great. I sell and service dental insurance for a major insurance carrier so I am very knowledgeable with how billing works. Today I was asked to pay $95 for a periodontal maintenance cleaning that my insurance carrier covers 80% and should only be a $19 out of pocket charge. Aggravated..... aspen dental in Farmington..... I hate you. When I was your patient and paying for your services with my insurance and high copays, you were happy to help. Adding "extra " things I don't need and didn't ask for, like flouride treatment at $50 per treatment. Now that I changed insurance companies, who you don't take, you're giving me shit about getting a copy if my x-rays. 2 1/2 weeks now. I signed a release in your office, and waited, called 4 times now, and now you can't find my release???Bull shit
The one and only reason this place gets one star instead of 0 is because of how nice the hygienist was. Unfortunately ,the new dentist they have working there doesn't allow you to choose your treatment plan. I have a cavity on my wisdoms tooth that can easily be filled but the dentist refused to do so because she "recommends" I have them extracted. Mind you, it is perfectly placed, doesn't hurt and overall it is healthy. I've been going to Aspen dental for years and it was never a problem to fill the cavity until she came. I... read more
