Very traumatic experience getting a tooth yanked out of my mouth. Dentist and assistants are very vague and not welcoming in the least. Do not go here.
They told me over the phone and on their website that they did take my insurance. But not until after examination they tell me they DoNot take my insurance and wanted me to finance $8000 worth of dental work. But tells me they will give me a $2000 coupon?? Why would i do that when I am paying for insurance? I was looking for an In Network dentist and they suckered me in there by lying just trying to get business
The appointment was supposed to be for a cleaning. It was a consultation. Not what I scheduled. Was not explained to me when appointment was scheduled. They took all my info at time of schedule then called me back the next morning asking for the same information. The building isn't maintained well. And lastly, the only medical/dental office I've ever been expected to pay in full for a procedure that hasn't even happened. It took an hour and a half for x-rays. Just moved to Omaha.... Took my kids to aspen dental didn't like the Dentist was not very friendly... And it is very over priced... I will find another dentist in the area..
This business has gone downhill since the last time I came here. The doctor's bedside manner is not great. I had to ask the same question more than three times while pointing to my teeth for him to understand what I was asking. He explained very briefly without much detail what he wanted to do. When I met with the finance manager, she handed me a piece of paper with the charges breakdown and says, "So when would you like to get started?" No explanation of the treatment plan. Had a positive experience, I have been trying for some time to get some work done, all other places said I didn't want to do what I asked of them. If I did not want it done I would not have asked. Dr. Straub reviewed my request and said he had no problem with it, he was professional and did the work quick and well, I would tell people to go to Aspen when they have dental issues.
* DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST * Dr. Straub has piss poor bedside manners, fails to understand what compassion is and needs some serious help! When people are in pain, it's best use good OLD-FASHIONED kindness instead of trying to be argumentative. I have never been so disappointed in a medical professional in my life. He barely even looked at me and sat behind me writing at a desk talking at me.
