I hadn't been to the dentist in quite a few years because I get anxious and then it had been so long I didn't want to get a "lecture". The staff at Shallowford Creek were so nice and caring. They didn't judge and they just made straightforward recommendations. The office is very nice, clean, and all the equipment is new. Dr. K even personally emailed me to give me recommendations on how to maximize my insurance contribution by timing the work I need done. Dr. Kakadia is a fantastic dentist. He does my regular check-up/cleaning and recently did some cavity work for me. The office is clean, comfortable and equipped with state of the art equipment. Just to give you an idea, they had a Nextflix movie going on a monitor above my head while they were filling my cavities! More importantly, Dr. Kakadia and his staff are both very professional and friendly - patient first. I highly recommend him and his staff. Looking for an amazing dental practice? I had a wonderful experience with Roswell Modern Dentistry. I needed a crown placed and was very pleased with the office staff, dental assistant and Dr. Mo. The crown was done in one sitting using a special technology that makes the crown on site. Whatever you do don't take any stock in five-star ratings, I have gone to 6 different dentists with five-star ratings to get a decaying tooth taken care of, and all of them took my money but didn't solve my problem. Don't understand all the 5 star reviews for this dentist. I did see one 2 star review, and that's more accurate. He is a money monger. The 2 star review related that he wants to replace existing fillings, do unnecessary X-rays, etc. Anything to run up the bill! Someone else mentioned that he used great caution during Covid. He seemed to until he finally admitted to me that he was using a thermometer that was broken. I wondered aloud why they had to take the temperature 4-5 times, and he finally admitted the truth. I wish I could give this office less than one star based upon their greed. They "explained" to my 25 year old daughter that her teeth were so dirty she needed a debridement Cleaning. The child survived braces without a cavity, brushes regularly, and has had regular cleanings before she moved out of my house. I know she was at Dr. Webbs for a cleaning last year. Now this Dr. Kakadia says she needs a cleaning reserved for "people who have not had their teeth cleaned in a long time" per MetLife Dental Insurance Co. This was... read more
