Oh the memories came alive at The Fish House! We were raised in this house and it was called “The Lower House” when we were kids. The living room didn’t have a TV - it was all about the fireplace and the music and the bear skin rugs back then! Such a wonderful treat that the house is preserved and rentable so we can enjoy it again with family and old friends and new!!! Loved The Cedar in the treehouse grove. So well designed and built. And nice amenities. I really appreciate how clean it is and how beautiful it is … tucked right in a lovely little hollow in the Smoky Mountains. Surrounded by breath-taking beauty. We will be back.
Husband and I enjoyed our time at our cozy Treehouse. Loved the quietness and surroundings. It was mostly in the 40’s while we were there. May need to come back in summer or earlier fall to open windows and hear the creek. Loved sitting by the fire pit also! Great that it is close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
We stayed at Shady Woods. It was clean and pretty and in a quiet area. Secluded. Nice private view sitting outside. They make it more like home and have many things that you would have to run out and bye. They have regular hotel and suite items and plenty of linens. But then they provide things like coffee items and filters, salt and pepper and snacks that are very thoughtful because we can easily forget them. And grilling out items.
