Hello! Me and my girlfriend went here on our first prom night, and this was absolutely fantastic. I am a young chef, and very rarely am I impressed or even excited to be dining out as usually I seem dissatisfied. However, dining at Bacchus yesterday truly inspired me and I would recommend this 10 times over. I thank the kitchen, as well as the front of house as it was all so smooth and very precise. 10/10!
One of Milwaukee's finest. Large, beautifully appointed, uncrowded space, excellent service, and the $70 prix fixe menu offers a good combination of value and choice. I started w/ the kampachi, followed by the filet medallion, both of which were excellent: wonderful combination of bright flavors and crunchy textures in the kampachi; the perfectly cooked, medium rare medallion sitting on top of the caramelized Brussels sprouts provided another mouth-watering combination of flavors and textures. Over ab excellent 3 course meal. 3 of us attended dinner and all got different menu items. We were all very impressed. Sarah, attended to us and did a great job pacing our courses and ensured a great meal!
Pork chop cooked to Perfection. Sword fish rather thin but good. Gelatos were fabulous! Service impeccable. Very kind and attentive.
Still on the course menu - which had many great options, just not the Bacchus of old. Bar and staff seemed to be playing zone defense with limited players. Regardless, would always recommend this restaurant.
