Expectations were high. And it exceeded expectations.
Dined here for my fiancé’s birthday. The newly remodeled interior is modern and lovely. Service and food were both outstanding. I’m sure we will go back!
Overall good experience. That being said we were on a minor time crunch that our server team acknowledged at the outset without prompting. We sat at 5:45 with a fairly hard exit time of 7:45. We were given drink menus right away and then didn't see a regular menu for about 30 minutes. When we ordered the wine, it took quite a while and the bottle sat unopened by our table for a good 15 minutes. Excellent food, service, recommendations, and atmosphere.
It was a snowy night in Milwaukee, one of the first of the season, so it was noticeably quiet. I have to say that it is not my favorite. I LOVE Bartolotta restaurants, but not Bacchus. It may be a great find for a real foodie, as the food is too fancy and expensive for my taste. I'd much rather be at Lake Park Bistro!
We went there because of the recent rennovation and liked the brighter atmosphere. Food was outstanding as always. My husband's salmon was perfect and my tenderloin medalions were super tender. The Chef's prix fix menu is a great value.
We went to Bacchus for our anniversary and it was spectacular! Everything from the service to the food was perfect.
Great place for a romantic anniversary dinner. Highly recommend the tasting menu with the wine pairing.
Excellent food and even better service ..staff friendly and knowledgeable.
