I was in an minor accident August 2019. Communication, or lack thereof, has been my biggest challenge. If I don't request status updates, no one reaches out to me. It's been weeks since I've heard from anyone and when I email asking for an update, my emails go unanswered. I'm ready for my case to be settled (since the year mark is fast approching) so I can put this accident behind me and move on with my life. Also, I would like to have the funds available to finally get my car repaired after the accident.
Worst service ever from a firm that should be professional and focused on good customer service. I am convinced that there are much better personal attorneys who will be responsive, thorough, accurate and professional regardless of the size of the case.
They received my daughter's small auto accident case almost a year ago with all documentation complete. They promised to have it settled by August or September. Since then they barely communicated, kept requesting the same documents they already had, passed her case to different people without notice, and haven't returned calls or emails since the first week of December. It's now the end of January. Ben Kennedy is currently in charge of the case. We can't get anyone at Bachus & Shanker to help or even respond.
Worse firm ever been trying for over a year to get a call back and cannot ever get a return call!
If I could give this "firm" a zero, I would. This firm's disorganization cost plaintiff wasted time and money. The departure of plaintiff's counsel at this firm was handled with questionable ethical legitimacy. This was a very poor experience.
Run, run, run. We hired bachus and schanker back in Aug 2014 after I was in a major accident while pregnant. Lauren the paralegal in charge of our case was a joke. Within a week Todd our original attorney had quit and getting a hold of anyone was impossible. I ended up firing them in Oct of 2014 after speaking with the tow company who had towed my car. Very riude and unprofessional first contact on the phone. I wouldn't recommend them.
Had them for 2 years as my SSD attorney. 3 weeks before my hearing, they informed me that they could not represent me and that I needed to obtain another lawyer. WTF? So I did! But when I got my backpay these greedy asswipes petitioned to get $3700 of my money! After they agreed with my new attorney to waive all fees! So Kyle and Darrin you and your company are low life's
knowledgable, efficient. Frim was very helpful and professional from the beginning to the end. Communication line was though poor I wished they would’ve been more communicative.
