The restaurant is dark and cozy. The staff was friendly and unhurried, perfect for a leisurely dinner. We had the Sunday roast and it was delicious. A huge portion of beef, potatoes, vegetables and a Yorkshire pudding. The Bloody Mary was really good. The server asked us how spicy we wanted the drink. At 6 it was a little more than we are used to, but the flavor made it worthwhile.

Food was good as always. But very slow service despite only 3 other tables being there (although I’ve never had this issue before!)

We booked this specially for a birthday treat, the place is gorgeous, the staff so welcoming, we had a lovely booth for the family plus two dogs. Lovely ambience, the food was absolutely Spectaluar we had a feast and everything we ordered was so tasty and plentiful. Would highly recommend!
