What a lovely restaurant! My husband and I were in Edinburgh for the night on a layover back to the US and were glad that we came in! The ambiance is beautiful with candle light and whimsical art on the walls to balance the mood. I had the cullen pie, which was so good I couldn't stop eating it even though the portion was very generous.
It was quiet, A Tuesday afternoon just after the festival has finished is to be expected. Jamie, our server was lovely, attentive and friendly. Lovely meal and excellent NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Will be returning many times and highly recommend.
Fabulous food and large portion sizes. Staff were friendly and efficient.
