Fantastic venue...the only slight disappointment was the kitchen closed at 9pm and our table was booked for 8.45pm. Didn't spoil the night but it would have been allowed time for a few drinks and then some food. Yes I would definitely go back and try get an earlier booking
Lovely setting - we ate in the bar area and enjoyed the back & forth with the staff and other patrons. Quite a nice puff pastry pie (definitely hot as warned) and the fish was excellent! Thanks so much.
We really enjoyed our meal here yesterday. The seating was very comfortable and the ambience was lovely. We all had the venison special and really loved it. The service was also fantastic – everyone who worked there was very friendly and attentive. Will come back.

Went for our anniversary and it was the perfect place for dinner! The staff were lovely the food was incredible (all the reviews raving about it were not wrong). We had the pies which were massive and so so good. The cocktails and wine were just delightful with a great choice of wine and unbelievable cocktails!! The cocktail list was delicious and the bar staff able to make off the cuff cocktails was the cherry on top (amaretto sours was great and the "something tropical" made based on my partner's vague instructions was so ... read more
Love coming here, and we will be back, but this time we were abit let down. We had a one course meal with one round of drinks and were in there for 2 hours. Would have loved a dessert but we were left unattended for approx one hour, with plates waiting to be cleared away. Food and drinks were lovely and the staff very friendly if overstretched. We will still be back, just hope things are more on form when we are!
