I had not been to a dentist since mine retired four years ago. My dental benefit will expire December 1. I currently have no pain or issues. My objective was a cleaning and to see if there were any hidden issues. I was not prepared to be told that my previous fillings needed to be replaced with crowns due to "leaking" and possible future problems. I wish we could have taken care of all my fillings that were discovered with the x-rays. I had already planned to have one done, and it would have been nice to take care of the rest during this appointment. Instead, I have to come back to do the rest. Perhaps have a little leeway in the schedule to account for "found" issues would benefit everyone.
