Dr. Balin Durr is an excellent Psychiatrist. She is quite frank and is very helpful and really takes the time to explain in detail my conditions and treatment options. I highly recommend Dr. Durr.
I thought Dr. Durr was very good. She is the first Dr. that bothered to take an in depth history in order to make a proper diagnosis. I was very impressed with the amount of time she spent. Very thorough. She doesn't mince words, but tells it like it is. Sometimes it's hard to hear the truth about yourself.
Dr Durr is a true professional. She is a straight shooter and tells like it is. The people who seem to rate her poorly must not like what their condition is nor having someone tell them the truth (hard facts). If you truly want to get the best treatment, Dr Durr is your best bet.
Interrupts. Demeaning. Disparaging. Everything a mental healthcare professional should not say. She says it. Comes off as a narcissist. I honestly don't know how you could be mean to people seeking your care. It's a wild experience. Do not go to her. It's mentally unsafe.
She is very unprofessional, condescending, talked down to me like I'm stupid, rude, rolled her eyes at me quite a few times while I was explaining myself. Made me feel like I was a waste of her time. Very good at making me feel uncomfortable. Does not have good bedside manner. I saw her 3 times feeling awful during each visit. Don't put yourself through that!!
She had me waiting over an hour, interrupted me when I was explaining something and disregards how feel! My medication dose has been cut in half and I feel WORSE. She doesn’t care if I’m feeling bad because she thinks therapy will help. It hasn’t helped my anxiety in the 29 years I’ve had it. I have decided to go see another doctor. I’m done.
Dr. Durr is a horrible doctor and yet I still arrived 5 minutes early before my appointment started and advised the staff that I was running behind due to a car accident on I355 even before my appointment time. Do you know the staff & psych doctor made me sit in the waiting area for 2.5 hrs before coming to say she would see me? Disrespectfully disregarding my time. Nice Nasty Dr. Durr, is a really good psychiatrist. She just has a terrible attitude. She totally disrespectful about your time. Dr. Durr, has poor people skills and needs therapy and medication herself.
She's AWFUL. She tried to run tests without my consent and completely disregards how her patients feel while trying to push her book.
