If you are looking for authentic Chinese food in Bellevue, you should go to Baron's. It's a very nice restaurant with a large bar area and 2 private dinning rooms. The food is delicious - Peking duck, Passion fruit prawns, Crispy eggplant cakes, Chili chicken wings, just to name a few. My favorite cocktail is Lychee martini. Artur is a very friendly waiter and Ricky is the manager. We enjoy the food and service every time.
Good overall experience. Peking Duck was excellent, and very filling for two people. The seasonal veggie we ordered were pea shoots, which I've never had before and and they were amazing sauteed in a bit of sesame oil (I think) and some light garlic, as was the pickled cucumber salad. The only item that was below expectations was the Kumquat Ribs, which had amazing flavor but were kind of tough and did not come off the bone easily (making them a messy appetizer unless you as for a knife!). Anniversary
Roasted duck was good! Would recommend going on Monday when they have the deal, otherwise it is way too expensive. Overall food is very pricey and the portion sizes are not the best either. Service was good. Make sure to ask for the box of bones after, there is a decent amount of meat in it.

Birthday lunch for husband and he ordered Peking duck. Husband loved it and said best he’s had outside of China. Also ordered fried rice and sautéed green beans — both delicious. Only comment is that for the cost - $135 for lunch for two - the staff needs training. Not professional for the atmosphere here which is very nice decor. The kitchen is open and the kitchen staff could be heard kidding around and talking very loud. Will return and hopefully training will have happened by then.
I ate lunch at 11:30a on Sunday with my two friends. The Brunch menu is quite limited compared with the dinner menu, but still has many excellent choices. I had ordered the Peking Duck ahead of time (they request at least an hour's notice), and we also enjoyed the Kumquat Ribs, Passion Fruit Prawns, and Shanghainess Smoked Mackerel. That was plenty of food for the three of us! The service has improved greatly since the restaurant opened almost four years ago!
This was a great place to celebrate Chinese Valentines Day. We enjoyed the Peking Duck. The Service was prompt and friendly.
