Can't believe this company is even in business. Contacted them about a **** and gave them my information. They responded back with 3 options from me to choose from. I chose option number one which had my home valued at $255,000. Questioned them about the value and was told that their way of determining value was always within $5,000. Continued to send documents through my account on their site. Went to log in a couple of days later and they had my loan application marked as "adverse". They are severely unprofessional and will waste your time!! They reach out to you to get your business and then are unreachable after you submit all the paperwork. I dealt with two loan officers and two supervisors and after almost one month of providing mounds of paperwork to them, they had not even submitted the paperwork to underwriting but initially bragged about getting a closing in 2 weeks. Would leave zero stars if that was an option. Contacted Barrett Financial Group to help secure a home loan. Jumped through all hoops and was given "Pre-Approval" to find a home. Once a home was found and all inspections and appraisal were completed, was told that we didn't qualify for the loan after all and that I was still responsible for all costs associated with the inspections and appraisal. My credit report only improved in the 2 month time period we went through this process. They even admitted I should have never been... read more

. My experience with Barrett Financial Group and loan agent ****** ******* was terrible. From the start of the process, she was unreachable and unprofessional. My realtor and I had to contact her supervisor several times because she was unreachable. I was unable to close on the property because the buyer and his agent refused to do any business with the loan agent due to her being unreachable and setting closing dates that were not possible due to her negligence with my file. Completely miserable experience. We provided all of our information well ahead of time, only for our new estimate to come out completely inaccurate the day we needed our closing disclosure in order for everything to stay on track. Horrible communication, showed up with multiple duplicate credit charges and excluding multiple sources of income without any warning. And then just completely condescending and gaslighty when we pointed out they messed everything up.

Hi I was dealing with a loan officer named *************************** I think that's how you spell his name..Anyway he said I got approved for a loan of **** they sent me a check for ***** an I was to send the difference to some Orphanage for help with ********* My bank told me this was not a legit thing.
