I have heard from a lot of people that this haunted house was a really good one. I was so excited about going there to be deeply disappointed. I drove over an hour just to get there too. It pretty much was just a walk through. It wasn't scary at all, it was a complete waste of time. I don't know if covid had something to do with it because it apparently was awesome every other yr. But if that's the case then they should not have opened it because I got ripped off! $70 and over 2 hrs of driving for a garbage haunted house. So... read more
Last year i went to basement of the dead and i loved it. The line alone was awesome, you had fun the entire time and waiting was not a problem. This year even tho things are different due to COVID i am highly disappointed. The haunt itself was 20 mins and there was 2 separate haunted attractions. I felt like there was more props than anything, between the two haunts there was probably 10 actors. This was the first haunted house we went too this spooky season and it was not as good as last year.
Good effects with the glasses but they relied on the strobe light way to much. Made some seens to dark to see the make up. Entertainment in the line was good.
We waited in line for 3.5 hours, was expecting something super scary for waiting that long in freezing temps but that just didn't happen :(
We waited in line for over 3 hours to go into the #1 rated haunted house and it was totally lame. By far the worst haunted house I have been to in years!!!!! So glad we didn't get a jump the line for an additional $20. The wait was entertaining but if you want a great scare go to Hellsgate in Lockport.
Decent haunted house, zero security for line jumpers and ignorant people.. avoid at all costs
The laser tag was not Harry Potter themed at all. It was disappointing. Games outside were good needed a bit more just to keep the lines moving.
The line outside, even though it was 3 hours after an hour drive, was fantastic, the characters outside were fantastic, the staff was fantastic, the whole ambience was fantastic. The 1st haunt not so much. There were some cool affects, but the noise was ridiculous and took away from the haunt for me and my crowd of 10. It was soooo loud there was no scare factor just utter irritation. Now the 3d Shattered house was AMAZING!!! Just the right amount of scare, noise and affects!!! Great Job all around just wish there was a litt... read more
The Good -Atmospherically the majority of the rooms were good. A decent variety hospitals / churches and jails to name a few. -Most of the actors seemed to be on point with their characters and the staff was helpful -The lines moved quickly so the wait wasn't painful. -There is a 3D part of this haunt which was pretty fun, and my personal favorite part. The Bad - I understand that the rooms being dark is part of the fear, but my friends and I all had some experience of walking face first into a wall because we could not see... read more
