The staff is very rude and he doesn’t care. He is just as rude. He doesn’t care about his patients and talks down to them. I would not sent your loved o es to him. Find a caring Doctor.

I was hospitalized from ER and this gastro was assigned to me. He was uncaring, inattentive and never once made the effort to meet with me to discuss my condition or the test results. No patient should be treated so poorly by a physician

Horrible, rude, dismissive and checking email or vm while patient is asking questions/talking vs being attentive or concerned. I can't say this enough ...don't use him. Office is crazy, make mistakes and confused about everything and snippy. Dr P seems to schedule tests and appt so as to benefit payments vs health issues. Most important he says very hurtful rude things to patient who are there for help. What doctor does that? Just horrible doctor! There are others in the area that far exceed his lack of knowledge and persona... read more

I've been to doctor Patel 6 times, once for my colonoscopy. He diagnosed me with Ulcerative Colitis, gave me 2 medicines "for the rest of my life" and sent me on my way. One of the medicines he gave me worked, but now he refuses to re-prescribe it. I've been suffering for two months without this medication. I've called his office numerous times asking him to please refill it, but he is always "out of the office or doing surgery". If you have a chronic illness, do not go to doctor Patel.

Dr. Patel has the worst bedside manner. He is rude and does not explain things. He also does not listen to his patients

Bedside manner: Condescending, RUDE, bad attitude, demeans patient. Doesn't deserve one star.

Does not listen. He is also very difficult to understand and when you ask him to repeat it, he gets visibly annoyed and just says it faster. I waited almost 24 hours in an acute care facility to see him and when I did he spent 15 minutes and could not wait to leave. This was also late at night, so it was obvious he was annoyed. Bedside manner is awful.

The Dr. does have good bedside manner, but doesn't listen to well. I was asked about medication I have tried after already telling him about it. I was then prescribed the same meds, but not over the counter even after I said how badly I reacted to the other. I asked some other questions about my situation and was told "I don't know". When a doctor says I don't know instead of looking for a cause or solution that's not good. Prescribing pills is not a solution.
