Non apologetic, unprofessional, bad customer service. It's unfortunate that I need to write this review for Bay Ridge. When we first started taking our pup here they were good, seemed professional. We scheduled a spay for our pup 2 months out to be sure there were no scheduling conflicts as we had trips planned. They called 1 week before the scheduled time and said they could no longer do the spay date that was scheduled and we had the option of our pup coming in the very next day (of course we couldn't do that because we ha... read more

Some doctors are great some are not. The compassion that we need when we take an animal to the vet is not there in some doctors. Just blunt and to the point. Do not go above when the time is needed. It's a shame. Normal periodic visits are fine but for elderly cats not recommended.
The place smells and is not clean. The exam room we were put in was too small and there was urine so I asked to be put in another room. I gave my puppy a bath when we got home just because he walked around that place
Have been taking our dog there for 3 years. Took our dog there this fall for a flu vaccination. We just wanted a flu shot. Was told they "had to give our dog a full exam" in order to give the shots, even though she just had an exam 5 months ago. OK. Our dog does get agitated at the vet, so the doctor (new doctor) was only able to give the flu vaccination during the visit, and was unable to give any sort of exam. Mr. Nicol - You and your sweet Oakley have been seen by our doctors several times since 2014, and we have discussed in detail Oakley's unfortunate situational anxiety. Oakley's fear for her physical safety when she is at the vet seems irrational and unfounded to those of us who do not experience anxiety, but to those (humans and pets) who suffer from anxiety, the perceived threat is just as real as if there were true danger.
