First, I need to start by saying I did not receive services from this office. I write this review because of the genuine kindness I have received, as a complete stranger, who happened to call in need of help for a relative of mine looking for TMS therapy for dementia. Dr. Markis is fantastic - I have been seeing him close to a year now after my previous psychiatrist retired. Dr. Markis is wonderful, but it's an added plus that it's really easy to schedule appointments, get prescriptions refilled, etc. I can't say enough good things about him and the practice. Very happy.
I have struggled with depression for most of my life and have had therapy as well as trying many antidepressants. I decided to try TMS after doing much research. TMS requires commitment and patience, but it works. The entire staff is amazing! Their support and compassion made the experience comfortable and hopeful. They truly are caring and committed to ensuring the best outcome for you. I felt very well taken care of and the oversight they provided makes you feel that you have a whole team of people behind you!
I recently completed 24 treatment of TMS with Achieve. I have suffered from depression all of my life and medications only have worked short term and then I have to change again. A nightmare!! TMS works! I did not feel any significant difference until after the 21st treatment; however, at that time the difference was very noticeable. I'm a HUGE fan of Dr. Markis! He's gotten me back to baseline in a very short period of time after 2 years of extreme anxiety. I can't say enough about him. And the other folks in the office - especially Allison and Cleo - are wonderful!
Dr. Crohn, Dr. Mindy and the entire staff were amazing at Calabasas Behavioral Health. My son went through TMS treatment 2 years ago, after being in a deep depression & with absolutely no help from meds. His talk therapy outside this office helped to some extent, but ultimately, the contact with these fantastic people & TMS "broke the back" of his debilitating condition.
