I interviewed 3 doctors before deciding on David Bernitsky. He answered all my questions about MY eyes specifically. He didn't rush through my appointment or act like he had better places to be. His staff was equally friendly and helpful. He performed the Lasik 4 days ago. So far, it's been great. A little pain the first day, but by Saturday I was back to my normal routine ... except I no longer have to deal with contacts or glasses and I can see the display on my alarm clock in the middle of the night. RecommendedBernitsky Vision did my LASIK procedure, as a 43 year old Firefighter/ Paramedic my vision is imperative to my daily duties. Wearing glasses for most of my 18 years with AFR was irritating, waking up 2-3 times a night searching for my glasses was getting tiresome. After other Firefighters were getting LASIK and I was hearing how pleased they were I decided to finally do it. Dr Bernitsky is great, love my vision after surgery, but not so much for the lifetime warranty. I guess one way of getting out of promises is to change the business. Dissapointed.
Had my Lasik last 2010, the staff made me avail the more expensive ($4,000+ for both eyes) because they said it involves lifetime consultation and repolishing (back then that was the term) for free. Six years after, guess what? I had to pay $150 for evaluation and $500 per eye for fixing it. The reason because they bought newer equipments!!! I am so disappointed with this company.
