I had trouble with getting things service connected even with the help of the DAV, the VA kept messing up paperwork, after many conversations a coworker referred me to Berry where we got everything properly connected! My service was long ago and I didn’t think much about it for many years. While I struggled with numerus physical consequences from the injuries in the service I had no expectation of any benefits available to me from the VA. I had a coworker that is a DAV rep who suggested I file for medical benefits with the VA and he filed for me.
