I brought my collie/lab mix in for his 2nd grooming with Luz. Because we adopted him from poor living conditions, we asked for just a small trim for his first grooming appointment. When we brought him back, we asked they go slightly shorter. When we got our dog back, he was unrecognizable. He had no fur around his genitals (much more than a sanitary trim) and he was shaved short. He naturally has long hair that he gets from the collie in him. Hi Andes, we are sorry to hear you were not satisfied with Buddha's visit back in December. As we discussed, Buddha was very anxious when he arrived for his meet and greet day. Since we always look out for the best interest of the pet, the safety of all the pets in our care and our staff, we did not feel Best in Show was the best fit. We are a larger pet resort with a high volume of pets and it may have been too overwhelming for Buddha, causing him to growl, snap and attempt to bite our staff and lunge at other dogs. Our dog came home from there with a terrible cough or hacking sound, that he did not have prior to being there. The lady who was at the desk, her name is Eileen was not welcoming to us at all. She was abrasive and dismissive.
