RecommendedI have to come here at least 1x during my week in KW every summer! Tried to get into the new Orlando location for my birthday in Jan.......but they had been booked up for 3wks prior....who knew!!� Someday I will get back there! Until then, see ya next summer Key West!!!�
Went to Better Than Sex last night. We were very excited to try it as we had a few people tell us that it was very good. We did make a reservation. The staff were very nice and tried very hard to accommodate us. However, the desserts were far from good. My friend got the banana crepe type dessert. It was so tough and chewy that we each only took 1 bite and gave up. She also got the glory holes which were a dry mess. It was donut holes that you dip in some type of sauce. Fun concept. Friendly and efficient service. The ambiance, the decor and the music stay the right side of tacky or cheesy. The desserts were very average. At least the two we tried. A mushy apple concoction with no texture or tartness to counter the sweet and a key lime and pistachio concoction - not much sense of key lime or pistachio. I liked the house made caramel. My husband found it too salty. The chocolate coated coffee mug really worked. The white chocolate around the rim was suitably decadent. Pricey.
