Waitress was no help . Manager spent all her time berating a busboy working as hard as he could but not fast enough for her. Chewed him Out in front of diners. Very poor service.
Plainly prepared fish with sides tasting cold and reheated. Salad and chowder were good. Expected higher level of food for pricing and ratings. Would not return. Many other Edgartown options that were amazing during stay.

Service was extremely slow. We had an 8:30 PM reservation and had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. The staff's excuse was that they were delayed or backed up. Totally unacceptable. The food was also subpar; definitely expected better service and food. Nice place though.
So it was my sisters bday and we were staying at the hotel. The inside is very pretty with nautical themes of dark blues and pops of reds. There are nice windows where you can see the beautiful landscape of the harbor or couples sipping wine in picturesque rocking chairs. Our family got all dressed up and excited to celebrate my sisters bday. I called in advance and the hotel called again to confirm it was her bday and that they knew how to spell her name. Great view and ambience/decor. Service was horrible. They brought out the wrong entrees and then argued with us about what we ordered. Then had to wait 20 mins for last entree which they brought in a take out box. Just ate it at the table out of the take out box. For the high prices, service was unacceptable
Poorly conceived and overly ambitious restaurant, unworthy of the description of fine dining. From the awkward reception to the unprofessional service—all three course were placed on the table incorrectly—to the inedible fois gras, overcooked steak and not quite right dessert, it was a big disappointment. Food is very much under whelming in terms of taste. We had ordered a variety of items, fish, pasta, veggies and they were all significantly lacking in flavor. The gnocchi are not made fresh and the sauce is not cohesive to complement them. The clam chowder and endive salad were pleasant. The cocktails were decent however the wine selection by glass is disappointing.
