John Clifford down there at big bear engine company sold me a Cummins 3.9 dieselHis customer service was beyond my expectation,I was a difficult customer to say the least and John handled it professionally I’ve put over 6000 miles on my little diesel with no problems John explain to me how to break my new diesel in. Bad Experience, bought complete 4BT 3.9 valve cover to oil pan didn't last 30 hrs on a dirt roller SD 70 ingersoll Rand .Started blowing smoke from exhaust and blow by tube and great oil consumption. Called big bear up talked with Pat said out of 6 month warrantee, we took to long to install engine and put to work on site. Had engine failure and they refuse to honor their warranty for customer. Trying to say breakin protcol and initial start process wasnt followed which it was to the T. Now have to seek legal help to reatring excessive money spent on replacement.
