We stopped at the Grants Pass Black Bear Diner while passing through. The service was excellent and the menu had lots of options. I had a nice large salad.

Black Bear is our favorite restaurant in this area. The food is consistently good in every diner. We especially love the pancakes and hashbrowns. It's a very filling meal for a good price.

The food was delicious. The staff were friendly. I go with my church from time to time. Me and the other men. I love it. I bought one of each hot sauce and it’s delicious, as well as well priced.

Due to the unfortunate demise of the industry of people “ working “… and staff being in short demand… this restaurant has really suffered a blow… the staff was so wonderful! The cooks, wait staff, managers.. everyone! And then Covid struck and .. well, the rest is history.. 🙁 I have been by there twice in the past week and it’s been closed… not sure when or if it will reopen.. hopefully it does.. it’s one of my mom and mine favorite places to eat..
