Nice restaurant to stop over when u need to stop over for a quick bite to eat just before climbing or going down the Grapevine on I-5. Different food selections and good customer service was on display. Not a bad option for a chain restaurant.
We like to stop here when we travel by. It is always busy. Sandwiches, soups, and pancakes are pretty good. There are a lot of bears around 😀 and cute messages. Kids love it here. By the way, you can refill coffee ☕️ as many times as you want.
After truck driving from a long day me and my co-driver were looking for a place to eat and found this place next to the TA. This is by far the best experience I've ever had at a diner, Ismael is by far the best at what he does. Thank you to everyone at this establishment.
I’ve been passing the Black Bear Diner for the last 25 yrs and I finally have time to stop by and try it out and my opinion…I picked their busiest day of the week, but I’m glad I did. The staff and managers here, even if all the staff were busy, they did it to their best of their abilities!!! The amount of food the quality was the best too!!! We drove up from LONG Beach heading to Arvin for a meeting, and we got in about an hr early. We decided to pick Black Bear over Dennys or just running through Stsrbucks. We got there at 745am, and it was perfect timing before the crowd came. Black Bear is a fun restaurant that gives you great portions and is really good food.
