In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Food is excellent, coffee nice and hot like we like it! Only disappointment, the hostess doesn't know if she's seating people or cashier?? Going in she was unsure of her job! And, trying to pay, if not honest we could have walked out! Stood there at least 5 minutes before she acknowledged me!
MORE THAN GENEROUS PORTIONS. GREAT TASTING. WELL WORTH THE MONEY! STAFF MAKES YOU FEEL AT HOME. ASK FOR BRITTANY SHE IS THE BEST!
"The Grizz" is a huge favorite of mine... Great food and great service....
