In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Enjoyed the grilled chicken pesto alfredo pasta. Excellent! Just like everything else I've had here!
I had a good breakfast there but the coffee is way overpriced and the waitress was pretty stingy with the coffee and I sat at the counter she could have come around a little more seeing if I needed coffee I hate paying $2.60 for only two cups of coffee
We love The Black Bear Diner. The food is always top quality and plenty of it. We have eaten at the Buena Park and Costa Mesa, Ca. stores and now the Barstow one. All receive 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆ for both food and service!
Best experience to date for a restaurant inside a truck stop I thank Ta/petro needs to do more of theses and drop some of the fast food
Wonderful places to eat. Me and my family had a great dinner. We will definitely go back again soon
