In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Great food. Great atmosphere. Friendly people. Only issue was waiting for ever for a server to stop and check on us so we could ask for a to go box. Had to get up and find someone to ask. But overall great.
