The food is amazing
Great daining place, love food and great costumer service...
Definitely my favorite restaurant. Food is great! Big portions there is Always leftovers. The service is outstanding. Price is on point. Love the theme. ITS fun. We brought our nieces last time they each got a sundae with their meal our waitress actually brought out a tray of toppings for the girls to pick from. It was very impressive. Love this place... my favorite... even though its a bit of a drive from Huntington harbor area. Worth it...

Been a fan of BBD for many years, always ate at the one in Lake Havasu City, AZ when visiting family and on rare trips to Northern Calif and Oregon. Buena Park Black Bear Diner is a welcome addition to Orange County! And like Robert Brown, I am hoping for a location in the Fountain Valley/Huntington Beach area... Great food, excellent atmosphere, fair prices and good service....we will definately be back for more!
My husband and I went there when it was Hof's Hut and we loved it. So we decided to try the Black Bear and we loved it too. The service was great, food was yummy and really enjoyed the fun atmosphere. My husband ordered breakfast and I lunch and they both were very good and they give pretty big portions. You have to try there biscuits, they were warm and right out of the oven. They serve breakfast all day so we will be going back for sure and they might be our new favorite place to go for breakfast! It would be very hard to find any place better the staff here are very people friendly and know what they're doing the food here is excellent if you don't try it its your loss sorry
