Great for family's night out. Home style comfort food at its best. Huge portions and friendly staff. Service is fast we go threw at least once a month.
This is the best place to take your family to. I enjoy the food and the staff was right there getting drinks and bread for the table. I had the fried chicken dinner with waffle. The chicken was a little small in size for me but the taste was very good. The chicken was not over cook and it was tender in juice. The waffle was golden brown it was better then the waffle at The Waffle House. Take it from Colorado Springs Food Guy

Huge breakfast!. If you like having huge portions of food for breakfast, this is the place! I've been coming here for a long time and I enjoy it! The breakfast is definitely what makes Black Bear Diner so wonderful! you will definitely have left overs! The lunch and dinner menu is pretty alright. I would suggest trying out the sandwiches. The staff there is attentive and super nice and quick! However I would suggest getting there early for breakfast because its usually pack! Stopped in late night and was pleasantly surprised. They gave large portion and the food was good. I will definetly make this place a once a week stop.

Excellent food the chicken fried steak is perfect. The blueberry pancakes are the best the pancakes are great by there selves service is very good I'm pretty critical but the food was awesome.
Stopped in for a quick breakfast and will definitely be back. We were seated near a large group with noisy kids. The waitress was kind enough to get our order in before theirs. I'm so thankful for a thoughtful waitress!!! The food portions were HUGE!!! The biscuits were big and fluffy. And the serve breakfast all day :-)
On our last trip visiting relatives, we ate dinner at the Black Bear Diner. For us, it was like a combination IHOP/Denny's/Cracker Barrel all rolled into one. This is a good thing. The atmosphere and service were good, and the food was what you can expect from a "diner." This is a good thing, too. For dinner, I ordered the Old Fashioned Meat Loaf, which was quite good.
