In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. The staff have excellent customer service. I can't remember the last time I had such great service at a restaurant! Friendly and accommodating, they made our pit stop on our road trip worth venturing in from the freeway. Thank you to waitress Angela for being so good to both my kids!

They give you a ton of pretty good food for a reasonable price. Excellent service every time.
