RecommendedI love black bear diner. The first time I went there was in Roseville CA. I ordered the Chinese chicken cabbage salad and the kettle chips. was really good. However they did away with the chips and now have sweet potato fries which I don't care for. I know live in Az and go to the Gilbert location. Please bring back the kettle chips. They were so good with ranch dressing. The service is always good too.

Went to celebrate birthday breakfast for my birthday and my boyfriends birthday! We had never been before. We had about a 15 minute wait in a very small waiting area that was shared with the cash register. Very cramped space. In the corner there were items to be purchased that had the Black Bear Logo on them. Sadly, we couldn’t see all the items due to lack of standing/waiting space. The food here is absolutely some of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve been their twice and was not disappointed!! Portions are huge too! So usually there are leftovers!

What note can I say than what had already been said? Everything I get is delicious. Their pot roast is always a favorite, they have the best mashed potatoes and gravy, and for breakfast I always get the chorizo scramble.

This restaurant is a great place to eat. I've been a customer their since the restaurant opened. The burgers (Big Daddy and Bob's Big Bear), New York steak and eggs and the Bigfoot Chicken fried steak and eggs are my favorites.
