I loved the diner, the service and the food! Huge portions, if you walk away hungry you have nobody to blame but yourself I had the hot turkey sand, mashed and cranberry sauce, it was thick chunks of real turkey and homemade mashed, so good!!! My hubby had the (fall apart tender) pot roast with mashed, salad and homemade cornbread. My son had the Chicken Parmesan with penne pasta, chicken tortilla soup and cornbread. You could cut the chicken with a fork! Homemade quality comfort food that tasted amazing for around $10-$12... read more

Ordered their sirloin steak with veggies as a take out. Steak was done right, veggies were nicely seasoned, and the soup was delicious! One thing is that many restaurants when doing take-out is that they may cut corners such as not including the soup or drink. NOT so with Black Bear... EVERYTHING was included, and still good and hot when we got back to the hotel. Very much appreciated, and very much recommended!
