I called Black Bear Diner in Hayward, CA at the last minute. I told them there were about 30-40 of us and we would be there any minute. They immediately started preparing for us. We had to wait about 20 minutes or so to be seated, but what can one expect for a last minute pop in. The food was great and they served large portions. The cost was highly reasonable. I look forward to going back there again.
