Good food and atmosphere cozy, they serve a lot of food so if your not a big eater might think about sharing a meal, well the breakfast portion anyways. I need to go back and try the dinner menu.
Black Bear Diner... super friendly people. Did not care for the green beans... it had a spice didnt like. They use different spices. I tasted the meatloaf... it had a spicy taste instead of that good ole fashion meatloaf tasting like gourmet hamburger w oatmeal etc. BUT I had the Big Foot Chicken Fried Steak... Wow.. LOVED IT. LOVED THEIR CORN MUFFINS... MASH POTATOES W GRAVY... AWESOME... Food and their side salads were great. Food was delicious! Nice big portions for a good price! Great family atmosphere! I love it and dont mind driving the 20min from where I live... Cant wait to go back! �������
Went for breakfast, party of three. Service was excellent. I had a biscuit split open with two sausage patties, scrambled eggs covered with white country gravy and hash browns. Excellent flavor, great sausage with great flavor. Large portions, could not finish the plate. Certainly "comfort food," and cholesterol enhancer. I read other reviews, can't give you an assessment.
