In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. My fiancé & I are from New York & were out there visiting my older brother last spring. We decided to go on a walk & a couple hours later we ended up at the Black Bear Diner. The food was DELICIOUS & the service was excellent! Back in NY now (unfortunately) & I still have the little plush black bear that my fiancé bought for me from the diner. Great service and home style food - love their meat loaf and gravy
Lynn, Constantino and the rest of the gang did an awesome job at Black Bear Diner in Lake Havasu City friday night. They served our ever growing dining party of 16 ( plus a take out order ) with delicious food and excellent service. Thank you for making our grandaughter Michaela, 9th Birthday extra special by having the cool black bear show up in person to join the gang in singing to her. The food and service was excellent.
