In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Recommended21+ years visiting Vegas and our first time in Black Bear Diner...but it won't be our last! The staff was great & worked hard to be friendly while following CDC guidelines. we had the pot roast dinner, fried chicken dinner and the Bear:s Choice w/pancakes. the portions were HUGE! all scratch made, including the house bacon ranch dressing and cornbread 🙂.
