In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. After experiencing the Horrific Attack on Route 91 Harvest, and being separated from family members for 12 hours...WE stopped at Black Bear Diner for breakfast before heading back to Ca. The waitress and the manager could not have been more gracious. The manager even comped our meals. Love Wins!! THANK YOU
