In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Realy good food. Big servings. Busy, busy,busy. My wife and family go once a month. We live in Pahrump, 63 miles from Las Vegas.

When I first moved here and went to church on Sundays, I would stop by for lunch. It was AWESOME and filling. Haven't been there in a while until yesterday after our annual flag planting at Veteran's memorial. I told the manager how I LOVED the new updated outside landscape. Best place for Sunday lunch and dinner.
