In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Black Bear Dinner in Los Banos was a good experience as most of them are. Our Server made it a good experience by not only attending to us promptly and efficiently but with a great attitude as well. I wish I had her name but the receipt shows it as Cashier Two, Table 23/1 on 2/24/17. Hopefully she will get the credit due her for doing a great job. The restaurant was clean and from what I heard it was the manager that was outside washing the windows as we ate. Good overall experience as we traveled home from Southern Californ... read more
