The service I received was excellent by Jesus at Black Bear Diner, Milpitas. He was very attentive and he said sorry because our food came out very late and cold. I also asked to speak with the manager, Tony and I received from him was a scoop of icream for my food that came out later and cold. I didn’t want anything for free I just want to enjoy a hot delicious diner with my husband. Thank you Jesus for being an excellent waiter.

I will no longer be eating at any black bear diner because of the way the Milpitas Ca location treated some veterans. Several family members had already planned to eat breakfast this morning at the Manteca Ca location but we all agreed to go someplace else. We have family members that are veterans. You did a bad hire by selecting the new manager at the Milpitas Ca location.

My family visits Black Bear Diner frequently, almost every weekend. This is our top brunch to-go. However, today I have families visited us and we got some takeout from your Milpitas location. I ordered 2 scrumblebowls as part of my orders. Somehow they missed the gravy, which is our favorite part of the scrumbleblowl... Not until we got home did we realized it and the biscuits was so dry without the gravy and ruined those two scrumblebowl... So disappointed.. Can someone help fix my order?

I visited the location after a distant soccer tournament. My kids were hungry and the service and food was poor. They did not get our orders right and when they finally did there was no flavor. I am used to good food at Black Bear and this visit was worse than ever before. I might not step foot into a Black Bear Diner again. When I told the waiter that the food was not very good and ask him to take it off or asked if he could give a pie to go, he stated that he could not, but maybe could give us a scoop of ice cream. Which h... read more

Took awhile to ask for and get a booster seat, took extremely long time to order food and just as long to get food. Took so long I needed to ask when would we get food. Had to request straws and the the waitress helped multiple people before we did receive straws. Just bad service. My group will not return. I have been there before and it was good but today was a bad experience..😕

My husband and I have gone to the Milpitas location since it opened, and we are in your email club. We have noticed a big decline over the last 18 months. Today will have been our last visit. After spending $12 on Shasta scramble and $11 on classic burger, and waiting 40 minutes for them, we are done. I watched my scramble sit at the warming lamp for at LEAST 10 minutes, I guess waiting for my husband's burger. His fries were old and dry. THEN, I had to pay 99 cents extra for some salsa. Really? All told, with the $5... read more
