Had a nice dinner of comfort food. Took home an apple cobbler and ice cream. Yum!
Great service and food! It being the original restraunt by Mt Shasta. My brother inlaw gave it a thumbs up with motorcycle parking.
The food is awesome, I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, the small bear portion and it was more then I could eat. Next time I'm in the area again I will be stopping .

This is THE place to eat in the Shasta/Siskiyou area. What started at the Hi-Lo Cafe in Weed is now a chain of restaurants across the western U.S. This is American comfort food at its finest. Everyone talks about the pot roast or the tri-tip, but I enjoy the Lumberjack Sandwich, which is a Beef Dip with melted swiss on a long roll, au jus on the side. Local craft beers finish lunch or dinner, good coffee with breakfast.
