My name is Jacque (Jackie) from Medford, Oregon & I was there a few years back. I was stranded in weed, when a real estate gal gave me a ride to Mt.Shasta + a few dollars. I went into the diner & checked to see if I could afford food or coffee. I couldn't food so I got coffee. While there I met the local police,(very nice) a few waitress's,(whom let me stay there drinking my coffee for a few hours) Steve the cook & a few other locals.
