They were kind people service was amazing and the food was so good. The chicken fried steak was so moist. And the baked potato was cooked perfectly so soft you could cut the skin with the side of the fork. And I asked for fruit instead of vegetables and they were sweet and not mushy. I would recommend the apple cobbler. If you had a homemade apple cobbler on a rainy day and your parents called you inside for some apple cobbler to warm up. This will bring you right back to that day. I will be coming back
The service was great the food was awesome taste real good would go back again I had the pasta and my wife had chicken fried steak excellent excellent I give it a 5-star rating and everybody that's given them a one-star rating and saying negative stuff just give it time their new restaurant they're still adjusting they have excellent service so just give them time and let them adjust
Since the Black Bear Diner opened in Newberg I wanted to go and check out the place. My birthday was last Friday so I’ve decided to invite two of our friends to have a late lunch, early dinner. We got seated right the way, the waitress came to take our drinks order. After few minutes she came back to take the food order. The food came in a reasonable time, however one of my friend ask for silverware and the waitress said that the silverwares are washed as we speak. I am a pancake fanatic and let me tell you, they NAILED IT. Very very friendly staff & seriously good food. New favorite place in Newberg.
Sat right down, ordered my food and within 5 minutes i was eating!!! Service was outstanding and the steak was absolutely fantastic!! Definitely suggest everyone go.

The service, food and atmosphere was real good. The red skinned mash potatoes and gravy hit the spot. My favorite was the chocolate volcano cake and ice cream. Make sure to leave room for dessert or just eat the dessert first���
100% turnaround. First time service sucked and the food Meh! The other day food was great and service was spot on. Very pleased.
