In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. We always enjoy Black bear whether it's at home in Paradise or while visiting in Suisun. I always enjoy their omelets, my wife had the beef dip (which I always enjoy but I was itching for breakfast! ) and she had to take some home because it was so big! No complaints, always great service!
We love this place. Food is always hot and fresh. Portions are huge. Service is great. If you are from back East and like Cracker Barrel, you’ll love this place.

I'm easy to please. Foods hot severs make it feel like home and it's 5 minutes away from my place. This is my go to diner.

Had lunch with my parents. Service was great. Food was wonderful. Had the Ruben Sandwich, plenty of meat, etc on the sandwich. Fries were good and hot. Our waitress kept our Ice Tea glasses full. Overall great experience.
