In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. I am from out of town and this is hands down the best place I ate at and I would definitely rate it a 10 of I could the atmosphere is absolutely wonderful portions and cost are definitely worth it
