In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. I was pleasantly surprised when trying this place. I hated the restaurant that was here before. So I am pretty glad something enjoyable took it's place. When you walk in it has a log cabin type feel with cute bears everywhere. Which reminds me of home. The service was fantastic. RecommendedFood never disappoints and serice was much better then our first visit when only open 3 weeks. Actually that was a kitchen. Highly recommend this cafe!
