The bear mascot was cute and the kids liked it but the bear visits were basically too frequent like every 3-5 min and same routine. came up behind my son and sat its head on my son's head and did alot of hugging from behind seemingly too frequently like 5 times in our 30-45min stay there. it just got a little uncomfortable no offense. pretty handsy too. RecommendedVancouverites! Why wasn’t Black Bear Diner full of customers this morning? This was truly the best breakfast I have had in Vancouver. The food seemed home made and prepared. Everything was served hot, and the portions are quite generous. The best part? They serve the most incredible bacon I have ever had! Be warned - the biscuit tastes like grandma’s, and is so large, it could serve 3 people! The ONLY suggestion we would make - the Denver Omelet my husband had, needed more cheese inside of it.
